We are delighted to announce our partnership with national homeless charity Emmaus
Tilia Homes is excited to have chosen Emmaus UK to
be it's first charity partner. We will be working with Emmaus so they can
continue to provide a safe place to call home in a community setting and support, to people who are experiencing homelessness.
Emmaus want to help people long term, not just by
offering a bed for the night but to support the individual with a home if they
need it plus tailored support and meaningful work in an Emmaus community social
enterprise. The donations go towards building companion bedrooms, voluntary
work, donating gifts such as old furniture which they can sell on and food for
them to eat as well as training, work experience and some move onto employment
Tilia Homes has committed to raising £80,000 over the next 12 months and the money raised will support the charity's essential work in providing people with a way out of homelessness.
Emmaus' work is crucial?
