Living in Market Drayton

As part of Tilia Homes’ ongoing commitment to the local community it has pledged nearly £1.3m to Market Drayton Council to support local wildlife, traffic, and infrastructure in the local area. The funding will see new pedestrian, cyclist and road routes in the local area to improve traffic management around Montgomery Place, as well as protecting local wildlife with buffer zones along the railway and the Stych Brook watercourse.

Hedgehog-friendly fencing, sparrow bricks, wren, swallow and sparrow boxes will also feature across the development to support local wildlife.

Those living at Montgomery Place will have the benefit of convenient travel connections, with access to Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Telford, Shrewsbury and Whitchurch all via the A54. Whitchurch train station is just 20 minutes away and has regular routes to Birmingham New Street and Stoke-on-Trent.

For families, the local area is home to a wide choice of schools ranging from nursery to sixth form level education. Market Drayton Nursery and Infant School is only a mile away from Montgomery Place, alongside Grove School and Sixth Form.
