Who can apply for a 100% mortgage?
You could be eligible if:
- You’re a first-time buyer
- You can show a track record of paying rent and household bills (such as gas, electricity, water rates and council tax) for at least 12 consecutive months within the last 18 months.
- You meet Skipton’s household-to-household criteria (the same people who have been renting now, and have been for the past 12-months, are the same people applying for the mortgage)
- Your loan amount is no more than £600,000
- You have no missed payments on credit commitments (e.g. credit cards, loans) in the last six months
- You are not purchasing a new-build apartment, this mortgage is available on new-build homes only
