How to find us

Rural living & wildlife protection

As housebuilders, it is our responsibility to embrace the beauty of this rural area. We will actively encourage wildlife to call this development home alongside you, with the addition of swift and bee bricks added to selected homes, two clay and reed blocks and a bee bank next to the pond.

Swift bricks are a special singular brick, discreetly added to the property, that are designed with a cavity inside the brick that provides a nesting space. Whilst bee bricks feature holes or cavities for solitary bees - a type of bee that are not known to sting and are safe to be around children and pets. With swifts and bees declining in population in recent years, these are important as new build homes and developments do not offer the suitable nesting options older homes have previously provided.

Travel & commuting

The village of Branston is well connected for commuters travelling by car or public transport. With the A38 just off Branston Road, you are easily connected to the M6 Toll, M1 and M42 motorways, bringing Cannock, Derby, Birmingham and further afield within easy reach.

Take the stress out of travelling with Burton-on-Trent train station is just three miles away. You can sit back, relax and enjoy the countryside views, you’ll reach your destination in no time with Derby just 11 minutes away, Birmingham 30 minutes away and Nottingham 44 minutes away.

Education & schools

Branston Edge is a great place to families to call home, with numerous schools available across all ages from pre-school and primary school, up to college within the surrounding area, all receiving ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted reports. John Taylor Free School is conveniently less than a mile away, bringing it within walking distance taking less than 15 minutes. Although Burton and South Derbyshire college is at the heart of Burton-upon-Trent town centre, it’s easily accessible via public transport.

Enjoying the great outdoors

Surrounded by the beautiful Staffordshire countryside, you’ll be spoilt for choice when taking the dog for a walk or the kids on a bike ride. Whether it’s the woods on your doorstep, along the river Trent which runs adjacent to the A38 or Branston Water Park Nature Reserve, just to name a few, you’ll never get bored of exploring new and picturesque places.

And when you need a day out with the kids or friends, you won’t be disappointed. Burton Watersports Club is run by the local community offering waterskiing and other water-based activities for all experiences from beginners to pros – why not give it a go! Looking for something land based, Burton is home to a rugby and football club, just on the opposite side of Branston Road,  as well as parks, marinas, golf clubs and even a fishery.

Children with energy to burn? There will be a designated children's play area built as part of the development, making it a great place for families to call home

Shopping & amenities

Find everything you need just a short drive away. Firstly, your nearest supermarket, Morrisons, is just a six minute drive away, for those big shops or grabbing something for dinner. Branston village centre has a selection of small shops and eateries, with nearby Burton-upon-Trent providing leisure complexes, waterfront dining and well know high street names at The Octagon Shopping Centre. Alternatively, hop on the train and take the 30 minute drive in to Birmingham city centre New Street Station, where you can mix shopping with fun activities, a bite to eat if you can choose from the array of places and maybe even a cocktail or two.
