Tilia Homes Eastern appoints trio of talent to senior leadership team

Tilia Homes Eastern has today announced the appointment of a trio of talent to its senior leadership team.

Ben Briggs joins the team as Head of Construction, Arthur Brenton as Land and Planning Director and Mark Wakeling as Operations Director, in a strategic move to bolster the regional business team’s already strong senior team as the homebuilder earmarks ambitious growth plans for the coming 12 months.

With 22 years’ experience in construction and housebuilding, Briggs, will be responsible for continually evolving the highest quality standard in health and safety across the region’s 10 developments.

Brenton, meanwhile, brings extensive industry experience having worked at leading homebuilder David Wilson and Persimmon. His role will be to implement the business’ ambitious land acquisition programme and has joined Tilia Homes’ at a time when the ‘management team has a clear identity and vision for delivering quality homes in prime locations’.

As Operations Director, Wakeling will use his 30 years working with Berkeley Homes, L&Q, John Laing, Taylor Wimpey and Barratt, to reaffirm Tilia Homes’ position with its supply chain and consultants to innovate and deliver exceptional and sustainable properties.

Gareth Jacob, regional managing director for Tilia Homes Eastern, comments: “The fact we’re able to recruit talent of this calibre is testament to our growing reputation as a national homebuilder with ambitious growth plans and a clear vision for years ahead and we could not be more thrilled to welcome Ben, Arthur and Mark to the Tilia Homes family

“The new additions to our senior leadership team are already making a positive impact within the business and I look forward to working closely with each of them to roll out the exciting plans for Tilia Homes Eastern.”

Tilia Homes was created in June 2021 following the acquisition of Kier Living by private equity firm Terra Firma. Its Eastern region operates across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, and delivered 450 homes in its last financial year.
