Living in Peterborough
Peterborough is a popular cathedral city in Cambridgeshire, with links to other major cities in the UK. The city has a strong history of economic growth, attracting investment fuelling the growth following a regeneration in 2012. This has led to the city growing in popularity for new and established businesses in recent years.
A wide range of events take place across the city throughout the year, including the East of England Show, Peterborough Festival and the CAMRA beer festival. There are also several entertainment facilities such as the Key Theatre and cinema complexes such as the Odeon. If you prefer the country air, you can head to Ferry Meadows in Nene Park.
The city is also ideal for families with several schools across the region and two colleges of higher education, Peterborough Regional College and City College Peterborough.

The Surrounding Area
Peterborough is one of the key stops on the East Coast Main Line and is only a 45-minute journey from central London. Ff you want to head to the big city for the day, it’s only a short train ride away. It also has access to other major cities including Liverpool and Birmingham.
It’s also close to historical UK cities including Oxford and Cambridge and smaller towns and villages including Huntingdon and Corby.
