By train there are many direct lines to some of the UK’s major cities; Birmingham is under 20 minutes away and you can be in central London in an hour. The closest airport is in Birmingham, but East Midlands is also an option with access via the motorway.
Slightly closer to home are two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, specifically the Shropshire Hills to the west and Cannock Chase to the north. Both of these are around an hour’s drive away and offer stunning views as well as enjoyable walks and mountain biking trails. Collectively though across the Midlands there are literally thousands of attractions from manor houses, to sports grounds, quaint villages, retail parks and much more, that you can enjoy as a homeowner in this area.
