You will find everything you need just a short walk or drive away. Firstly, the Newport Retail Park is located to the North-East of Nova Place and is easily accessible on foot. Here you will find a selection of shops including Screwfix, Wynnstay Stores, your nearest supermarkets, Aldi, Lidl and M&S Simply Food, eateries such as McDonald's and Subway and a BP garage. Newport town centre is less than a mile away, via Station Road and is home to a selection of small shops and eateries, with nearby Stafford and Telford, accessible by car using the A518 in either direction or using public transport, providing shopping centres jam packed with high street names, dining and activities for all the family to enjoy.

Travel & commuting

The market town of Newport is well connected for commuters travelling by car or public transport. With the A518 just off the developments Swaledale Avenue, you are easily connected to the M54, connecting to the M6 motorway, bringing much of Shropshire and further afield within easy reach.

Take the stress out of travelling with Shifnal train station and Telford train station both just a 17 minute drive away. You can sit back, relax and enjoy the countryside views, you’ll reach your destination in no time with Shrewsbury just 28 minutes away and Birmingham 37 minutes away from Shifnal and Birmingham, Aberystwyth and Llandudno available from Telford Central.

Education & schools

Nova Place is a great place to families to call home, with numerous schools available across all ages from pre-school and primary school, up to college within the surrounding area, all receiving ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted reports. Moorfield Primary School is conveniently just 0.3 miles away, and just a 4 minute drive from Nova Place and Haberdashers' Adams School for 11 years+ is just a little further, less than 10 minutes drive away. Although Telford college is at the heart of Telford town centre, it’s easily accessible via public transport.
