Tilia builds its regional presence with new MD

Simon has spent much of his career at Beazer and Persimmon Homes, starting as a site manager before working his way up to management and director-level roles within construction and technical departments. He then spent more than 12 years as a regional MD, with responsibility for two operating regions in the South West and Cornwall.

Tilia Homes was created in June 2021 following the acquisition of Kier Living by private equity firm Terra Firma. Its Western region, which covers Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, and Dorset, employs 70 people and delivered 375 homes in its last financial year.

Nigel Greenaway, Tilia Homes’ chief executive, comments: “Simon’s sector knowledge, his expertise and his understanding of the regional market made him the ideal candidate to take over the reins of our Western business. He has an impressive track record in the South West and has the experience and drive to significantly scale-up our business in the region.”
