Tucked away amongst the rolling fields of the Ribble Valley, the market town of Longridge is situated 8 miles north-east of the city of Preston

The town is located at the western end of Longridge Fell, a long ridge above the meandering River Ribble. As a result, it commands a view of the whole of the Fylde Plain. If you climb to the top of the fell, it's possible to see the Welsh Mountains, the Isle of Man, Ingleborough and the Loud Valley. All of this great scenery is on the doorstep of our property for sale in Longridge, making it easy for you to reconnect with nature and get away from fast-paced city life.

Longridge is the shopping and social centre of the local farming district and has an interesting mixture of shops and antique galleries that attract visitors from all over the region. Set in the glorious countryside, the town is also an extremely popular starting point for country walks and cycle rides!

The thriving town's main tranche of independent shops can be found on Berry Lane, which features clothes shops, a Post Office and a multitude of local services. There is also a supermarket for the weekly shop and a number of local convenience stores for daily essentials. 

On top of all this, Alston Grange is also the perfect location for young families. This is because you’ll find three primary schools and two secondary schools within two miles of our new homes in Longridge, Lancashire.

The Forest of Bowland is practically on the doorstep, but you’re still within close proximity of Blackburn, Preston and Blackpool. For cross-country rail travel, Preston station is around half an hour away. From here, you’ll find direct trains to London, Glasgow and everywhere in between.
